BC Children's Hospital CANPWR Participants

To our new and current participants...

A Few Reminders:
  • Please make sure you update us with any phone number or address changes

  • Your participation continues whether or not you are still enrolled in the Shapedown Program.

    • We would still love to have you as part of the study!

Study Components:

  • Enrollment process:

    • The Shapedown team works in collaboration with the CANPWR study at BC Children's Hospital. When new patients enter the Shapedown program, the Shapedown team will identify eligible CANPWR participants and explain the study to them during their Feedback session. Families will be encouraged to take the study information home and discuss it with their family, friends, or doctors.

  • Study Visits

    • CANPWR participants will be asked to return for a CANPWR study visit at 6 months, 1, 2, and 3 years after enrollment in CANPWR Main Study, regardless if you've completed the Shapedown program or not. The CANPWR study coordinator will be in contact with you as soon as you are due for a follow-up study visit.
